About the author

Patricia Gaut is an award-winning Sydney writer with many years experience in teaching creative writing. She has degrees in Music, Communications, Creative Arts and a PhD in Writing - the first ever awarded by the University of Western Sydney, described by the examiner as... 'an outstanding doctoral thesis which makes an important and original contribution to contemporary creative writing...' She is the founder of the successful Willoughby Writers Group and a past President of the Society of Women Writers NSW Inc.
